Okay, so, me and my supposed "best friend" have had these plans for Halloween for almost a month now. We were gonna do all these awesome things and whatnot. Then, today at school, I start talking to her and say "I can’t wait ’till halloween, it’s gonna be killer." and she’s like, "Oh, right. can’t anymore, Kim (not her real name) and me are going trick or treating. We’re gonna dress up as two people from the same T.V show!" So I said, "Wait, we have plans! Why would you do that?!" And she said, "Well, maybe you wanna come with us?" … So I said, "And I’m supposed to be this random person not fitting in with your guys’ costumes, walking behind you with my head down while you guys are laughing and ignoring me?" (They do that whenever me, her, and Kim hang out. I’m always left out!) And then the bell rang to go to class so we couldn’t talk anymore. And I haven’t been replying to her texts or calls either. Immature, I know. But she just ruined my favorite holiday that was supposed to be kick a** and awesome. I don’t want to go with them because I am always ignored with them. Also, I stopped trick or treating at 3rd grade. And, my costume doesn’t fit in which isn’t that big a deal..and Kim is ANNOYING. I’m not even kidding. Non-stop talking, once when I was drinking water and she pushed the cup and spilt it all over me. I was pissed. And whenever she’s around I just want to leave. So, I guess my question is, what do I do for halloween? I don’t want it to be ruined…it’s my favorite holiday! And, should I still be hanging out with my friend even though she just tossed me aside? I do have other friends, but they’re kinda annoying and loud and girly. I feel inferior to all of my friends, like I’m no ones favorite, you know? *Sigh* Do I just not know how to have a good time with people? Also, we’re all in 9th grade, if that helps anyone out in figuring out what I can do for Halloween or something. Thanks for everyones help! I really appretiate it.

I’m not kidding. Let them ruin eachother. you know what, I know they will seem like they’ve had a great time and all when you see them at school later on, but eventually they will both trip over their own ego’s so just let them have their fun and pay for it to!!

make some friend with guys?? they’re way chiller. whatever you do DON’T go with that b*tch chick she does not deserve your effort any more. don’t bother with her. first, boost your self-esteem somehow. then just start talking to people, if nothing incredible happens for halloween for you, relax its okay, because there will be another halloween where you will be with the right people at the right time. who knows..maybe you need to be alone and just don’t know it.

at any rate. you’ve got to stop being subdued to quiet follower. If you’re shy, here’s what i do: hold your head up when you walk through the halls, instead of looking at the ground. don’t be afraid to look people in the eyes or to smile. even if they don’t know you–it’s really okay! not everyone will respond with the same level of interest and that can be hard, but once you’ve got your face known, people will eventually be more drawn to you. and once they are, speaking up in a crowd becomes much more natural.

it takes some time to make these changes, but i suggest you start now. like i said, just keep your head up in the halls. think about things that make you happy, or something funny you saw on the wall, and notice everyone around you. ….if you don’t want to be seen with some dork, just talk while you walk and go to you locker or something:/

I love a good comeback story and he appears to be healthier than he has been the past 3 years and he is in good shape. His fastball is supposedly able to reach 93 MPH with good movement and his changeup is supposedly very good. Tonight he debuts with the Phillies. Do you think Pedro has enough left in the tank to make a splash?

It depends what you mean by "success." I have a hard time believing that he’ll be anything other than a number 5 starter, but the Phillies aren’t looking for an ace; they’re looking for someone better than Jamie Moyer. I think Pedro will do better than Moyer, so yes, under those circumstances, I think he would be considered "successful." I just wouldn’t bank on him being a reliable option in the playoff rotation.

Honestly, I do not think Martinez will be able to make a good comeback. In his minor league games he went 1-1 (in 3 games) with a 5.11 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 12 1/3 innings. Those numbers look good, but remember he was facing a minor league team. He is coming back to the bigs. In my opinion he will be the John Smoltz of the Boston Red Sox. He is a veteran, but I think he will struggle a bit. He has not faced a major league ball club in over a year. This could be his downfall.

I saw him pitch at Reading and I’d say he can be effective. But I think he’s now most useful as a reliever. I’d start worrying in the 4th, 5th and 6th innings. Since I don’t think Pedro came back to be middle reliever, he might be best suited as a closer. With a quality fastaball, cutter, change-up and curve, I’d trust him for my last three outs against anyone.

I have a Google Wave preview account with 8 invites. It shows "08 invites left." However, on the top, it says that I am nominating people…

This is a bit confusing. Will all 8 people get an invitation, OR only 1 of the 8 people will get an invitation ??

For Google Wave, you are nominating people to get invites first. This is like a "preferred" list, where if you nominate people, they won’t get an invitation first, they will just get them sooner than people without someone nominating them.
All 8 people will eventually get invites.

First they need to make mars liveable which I think all they need to do is melt the polar ice cap.

im pretty sure they are not going to waste their time with the moon any longer. theres not really a point. nothing is at the moon. what ive heard is that they plan to send us back to the moon to see how people would handle being in another place in space for a long period of time because they want to do tests on the moon before they travel out to mars.
