My husband has his right front temprial(1/4 of brain) removed due to brain cancer.They didn’t "add" anything to to fill in the space.I realize this is different then what your asking,but I thought I would respond because it’s kinda similar.I will tell you this though….With my husband it was weird because he had a large indent on his skull where the surgery took place,and the part of his brain was removed.

My high school is putting on a production of West Side Story, and I am in charge of getting t-shirts for the cast and crew. Since the cast and crew have to pay for these shirts, would using this image be considered copyright infringement? If it is, is there anyone I could contact to ask for permission to use that image?

That is a super famous and very well known image. Was the album cover back in the day when every kid in America went to the movies to see WSide Story. We also read books back then. You may be able to get permission to use the image for your production or you may have to pay.

Now if you did, "Blank High School " presenting West Side Story and an image that you design yourself there should be no problem. Contact the producer of the Album/DVD and see what they say.

Well, that’s the movie logo, not the Broadway logo, so it’s the wrong one to use, if you care if it’s legal. West Side Story is published by MTI, which has a lot of rules about what you can and cannot do. MTI says that you are only legally allowed to purchase your shirts directly from them. But, this can only be done by your director, and since they put you in charge, I’m guessing they don’t want the MTI shirts.

MTI also really doesn’t like people making up their own logos. Their contract with your school will say that you can only use their logo on any posters, programs, or other advertising for the show, which is why your director should have already purchased a "Logo Pack." Which you technically aren’t allowed to put on T-shirts (because they want you to buy theirs), but a lot of school do it anyway, because MTI probably won’t find out. It’s cheaper this way, and you can do things like put your schools name on it, or list the cast on the back. So, anyway, ask your director what they would like. Check so see if they just wanted the MTI shirts, and about the Logo Pack.

front side vs back side in snowboarding?
ive been snowboarding for years but Im still a little confused on which is a frontside spin and which is backside. I ride regular and always thought that a counter clockwise spin was front side (you turn your "front side" down the mountain first) but sometimes I see competitions and then i second guess myself when the judges announce tricks. someone please break this down for me. also what does it mean when a spin is a "cab"?

Ok. Frontside means that you can see what is in front of you first so if you hit a kicker and turn your body left (this is if you ride up to it regular). Backside is the exact opposite. Its when you see what is behind you first. The most confusing part about the names is that frontside is when you rotate towards where the heel (or back) of your board is and with the backside you rotate towards where the toe (front) of your board is. Just think of it the way I told you first. You can also think of it like if you look down the mountain first its front side and if you look up it first its backside. A cab is a pretty simple concept. If you ride up to a jump fakie (so goofy for you) and spin backside than thats a cab.
